16 stylish releases and new watches that are obsessing us this week
Let’s start the weekend off with a dose of drops from the world of style and watches. If you can’t wait to travel, check out the new sports bag in collaboration with Montblanc with Public School New York. Pair it with the matching black leather Chelsea boots from Koio. Don’t miss Buck Mason’s Rider Jacket in full-grain blue suede or Seiko’s diving watches with turtle-shell inspired dials. Find it all, a watch for the blind, perfectly baggy jeans and more in this week’s outing summary.
Vollebak Planet Earth jacket
Presented by Vollebak
The first field jacket was designed during WWII as part of the standard combat uniform. Today, it is more commonly recognized as a jacket that can be worn anywhere – from a frigid tundra to a humid jungle. Vollebak was inspired to create his own jacket that could work anywhere on the planet. The result? The jacket of planet Earth. Coated with a combination of beeswax and paraffin wax, the jacket strikes the perfect balance between softness and weather resistance. The more you wear it, the more it conforms to your body, so no Planet Earth jacket will ever be exactly the same. It is lined with an ultra-strong Cordura, which means it is very durable and abrasion resistant, yet soft to the touch and soft against the skin. With nine pockets, this jacket will handle all your EDC essentials in addition to the weather.

Timex Q Reissue Falcon Eye Watch Green
Brain Dead x Asics Trabuco Max
I am against unnecessary collaborations. I like cool and unexpected ones (from companies in the same industry, usually). Like Brain Dead and Asics. They made this new shoe, the Trabuco Max, which appears to be made from the skin of several types of alien life. It’s a scary running sneaker for the season.
Price: $ 160
Eone Switch Watch
Eone is unlike any other watch: it is designed to tell the time in a tactile manner for the blind, but it also offers a visually striking design and a conversation starter. The basic concept is already incredibly original, but a new model now offers even more interest with interchangeable faces, including some very attractive textures, almost guilloche.

TOYS McCOY Lot 001Z Riders Denim
Japanese reproduction label TOYS McCOY has dropped its own ode to Lee’s Rider jeans, the brand’s most popular style. (Think: what the 501s are for Levi’s, but for Lee.) They’re true to the original, throughout the back patch. But they are all TOYS: the badge says TOYS McCOY, just like the interior labels.

Oris Big Crown ProPilot Large Date Bronze Watch
Large crown, large date – the Oris ProPilot has always been very sensitive to tool watch vibrations, and now it’s getting a bronze version that will patina with wear and tear and look more and more rugged.
Price: $ 2,200
Los Angeles-based eyewear brand Akila released two new styles this week, an optical pair called Kaya and these Ares sunglasses. Of course, summer is gone but that doesn’t mean the sun is gone. And they’re light enough to wear on overcoat days and around buildings – if you’ve got the confidence of a celebrity in an airport.
Price: 140 $
Zenith Chronomaster Original Diamond Watch
Now with diamonds! One of our favorite vintage re-releases of recent years has always been versatile and not necessarily genre-specific, but a new version with diamonds and mother-of-pearl takes it in a decidedly feminine direction. Not that you can’t wear one, regardless of your gender.
Price: $ 13.00
Buck Mason Indigo Full Grain Suede Jacket
Part of Buck Mason’s Limited Release line, this indigo-colored suede jacket could pass for vintage. But the kind of archive, hidden in the museum. Put simply, it’s classic and luxurious – it should be for the big chunk of change they’re asking for.
Price: $ 695
Urwerk UR-110 Bakelite Watch
High-end independent watchmaker Urwerk’s UR-110 watch has been around since 2011, but the line is eventually retired with a final model. It is the same crazy watch, but in a single piece in titanium and comprising “bakelite” for its bezel. It will be auctioned off through the brand’s website and most of the proceeds will go to the Swiss Red Cross.

Fried Rice Reversible Utility Vest
New York label Fried Rice ditched this funky, metallic olive utility gilet. It is covered with corduroy, duck canvas selvage and pockets, all genuine. There is also a hood hidden in the collar.
Price: $ 265
Nivada Grenchen jellyfish
Replacing a watch’s seconds hand with intentionally pixelated art put the French company Seconde / Seconde on the watch map. It’s controversial, but it’s proving to be rather popular too, as this sold-out collaboration on Nivada’s Depthmaster shows. Here it’s a pixelated jellyfish (although it looks a bit like an octopus, right?) That matches the nicknamed model (“Pac Man”) a bit because of its distinctive numbers.
Price: $ 1,257 (sold out)
Moncler For Men Eau de Parfum
The new woody fragrance for men from Moncler comes with a smartphone app. What are you doing with it? You check the LED label on the perfume bottle. Type your name, a reminder or a love note (even for yourself; maybe “are you feeling good?”) And activate the ticker by tapping on the front logo; it also serves as a button.

Special Edition Seiko Prospex “Turtle” Watch US Inspired
The barrel-shaped case of this famous diver’s watch has earned it the nickname “Turtle,” but these new special editions for the United States could mark the first time that Seiko officially uses the Turtle language. That’s because three new models in different dial colors are all intended to mimic the patterns of a turtle shell. The watches are part of an announcement that Seiko is partnering with the Oceanic Society for its work to protect endangered sea turtles. Pretty cool, if you ask us.
Price: $ 750
Koio Trento Boot
Best known for his sneakers, Koio released a collection of boots this week. It includes Chelseas, Chukkas and lace-up shoes, each in three different colourways (two in leather and one in suede). This is the Trento (aka the Chelsea) in black leather. Expect an RSW-certified leather upper and stacked leather soles.
Price: $ 348
Kross Studio Tie Advanced watch winder x1
What is that ? This is a premium watch winder that is, yes, made to look like a TIE Fighter from the Star wars movies. If that’s your style, or if you’re just a major Star wars fan, you might want to know more about Swiss brand Kross Studio, which makes all kinds of pop culture and sci-fi inspired watch creations, like a “Death Star” tourbillon (hand-wound) watch.
Price: $ 2,500
Public School New York x Montblanc sports bag
Montblanc and Public School New York – by Maxwell Osborne and Dao-Yi Chow (the designer behind Tom Brady’s upcoming clothing line, BRADY) – dropped off a collection of bags and luggage this week. The entire line is made from ECONYL, a durable fabric sewn from waste materials. There are leather accents and luxury features, but for the most part it’s eco-friendly.
