New Commercial Development Coming in Northwest Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Residents of North Oklahoma City will soon have a new grocery store among them.

Rose Creek Plaza, a new upscale mixed-use development, will be located on the northwest corner of NW 164th and May Ave.

Homeland is the first confirmed tenant for the new development. Organizers say the new store will offer fresh meat, produce and a similar grocery store at the NE 36th and Lincoln location.

“We are excited to bring our full-service grocery store to this first-class development and serve our customers in the Oklahoma City and Edmond area,” said Debbie Brown, HAC’s interim CFO and CEO, Inc., “The store will provide a wide variety of fresh meal options for shoppers and will also serve as a gathering place for the community.

In addition to Homeland, the plaza will feature a town center, restaurants, shops, cafes, and more.

“Rose Creek Plaza’s vision is to create a lifestyle destination, featuring a unique blend of national and local upscale retail, dining, service and entertainment,” said Steven Callendar, COO of Skybridge Development. “This development has been underway for many years and we are excited to see it come to fruition.”

Homeland will debut the new store in summer 2022 with plans to open to the public in fall 2023.
